[Sleepy, lazy days are a rare commodity in their line of work, and damned if Sam doesn't like to take advantage of them when he can. He lounges in bed, enjoying the feeling of the cool sheets on his bare skin. What he enjoys even more though is the sight of Bucky, finally comfortable enough with his body again to go around Sam's apartment without a shirt on. Sam's name imprinted on the other's man wrist, bared to the world now that it's just the two of them, looks pretty damn good as well.
It's enough to lure Sam into sitting up, just as Bucky drops down to perch on the edge of the bed. Making sure his partner's aware of what he's doing (but then again, when is he not? There's a number of answers I could give to that, but I think the main one I'd have to give is that I'd probably end up kissing wherever you get it. After it's healed, of course.

[ To start with, TJ's not concerned. He's not. That's just stupid. It's not like they're dating, they don't mean anything to each other—this is all just completely and totally casual. No fuss, no muss. There's no strings attached and that's exactly how TJ wants it.

( Might not care, but he never said anything about not being nosy. ) There's a huge accident over the Potomac, a building destroyed downtown; he can't not hear about it because of his family, but he isn't all that interested. Of course, it doesn't remain a mystery to him, not when Dougie slides a tablet across the table one night and tells him he might just be interested in having a look.
It's surprising in a weird way, the strangeness of it twists hard in his belly, but he doesn't care so it doesn't matter. Right? Right. Sam's alive, at least, that much he can admit to caring about.

[He'd actually hoped to avoid this conversation if possible, and he'd thought (hoped) that TJ wouldn't think to bring it up as their relationship is... it's complicated, cliche as it might sound. TJ isn't the kind of person who does dating, has made it abundantly clear that this thing they do, where they meet up on occasion and sleep together, isn't serious, isn't an actual relationship.

I'm gonna point out all those movie nights again.
[ Every now and then the venue for his NA meetings changed. Sometimes it’s a church, other times a local YMCA or a hospital. In a pinch, they end up in someone’s home. TJ hosted once, but his mother expressed concern about him having a bunch of addicts in his place (she acts like it’s her mansion and not some cramped little apartment that doesn’t even have a bedroom).
Whatever… It doesn’t matter that much. TJ isn’t all that committed to the idea that sharing with a bunch of folks is going to make his life better. In fact, he pours out into the hall with the rest of the group with nothing but relief. He’s got better things to do than sit around and talk about the blur of his life and listen to others make excuses. But it’s part of an unspoken agreement with his family, so he goes.
And when it’s over he makes his way down the hall toward the drinking fountain. It looks like some other group just broke up, too, from the amount of people meandering out the door beside him. They look more put together than the junkies from his group. He tries to get a look at the little table with brochures set out next to the door before Sam collects them all. ]

[ It's his first day at work, and he's already put salt in someone's coffee instead of sugar somehow. Everyone's been real nice to him and understanding as he tries to make the least amount of mistakes possible as he's learning the ropes, so Sam wants to do them proud.
