[ He's traipsing into his kitchen to make sure it's where he last put it. One thing Buck can do is stir and warm soup. That's easy. He's got a nice steel pot for that sort of thing already on the stove. ]

[ The trip to Bucky's place doesn't take too long, and soon enough Sam's knocking on his door, bag of stuff in hand. ]

[ Bucky hops up off the couch and shuffles to the door, opening it quickly. ]

Hey. [ He props the door open to let Sam through. ] Come on in, pal.

[ Sam laughs, trying to brush off as much snow as he can before stepping inside. ]

Are you always this friendly or is this just because I'm going to be feeding you?

[ Still, his eyes crinkle up at the the corners as he smiles at Bucky. ]

Hope your appliances all work so we can heat some of this up, man.

You serious? I am a charmer twenty-four seven, pal. I just can't turn it off!

[ No, it's totally your food, mister! Bucky gets out of the way and moves further into his small apartment. ]

Yeah, stove's fine! It's the air conditioner that just doesn't wanna stay hot for long...

[ He snorts, shaking his head - he can see right through you, bud. Still he's mostly just amused. ]

Come on, then. Let's heat this up so we can get you fed. It help warm this whole place up, too, while we're at it.

[ He blinks, then glances over as he makes his way to where he assumes the kitchen is. ] You know that the air conditioner's meant to keep the room cold, right? If you want hot, you'd have to use the thermostat or a heater.

[ Don't be one-upping Bucky Barnes in his own damn house, pal! You're gonna get kicked out that way and he's gonna keep all the food. Eventually he follows Sam in and hovers behind him like a gnat. ]
