[ Whether it's pancakes or sex, that's just the way Sam rolls. He hasn't heard Bucky complain about it just yet.

To be fair to Bucky, they both have their bad days. Sam's far from perfect and there are times when he's just got to take a step back and spend a bit of time for himself. While those days are nowhere near as bad as Bucky's can be, Sam knows they just have to be patient with each other and work things out like adults.

He lets Bucky scoff quietly and try to talk his way out of the whipped cream fiasco, chuckling quietly as the other man hides his face against the junction of Sam's neck and shoulder. Sam doesn't quite have the heart to point out the traces of whipped cream on the cover of his coffee cup, so he might as well let Bucky off easy. ]

Hmm, my bad I guess. Just make sure they don't forget next time, okay?

[ His hands keep working steadily away at their breakfast, even as he savors this quiet moment between them. He nudges Bucky gently. ]
